25th Anniversary Workshop Series.

FIK-SHUN – (Hip Hop) –Launching to international fame as the male winner of So You Think You Can DanceSeason 10, Dushaunt “Fik-Shun” Stegall free-flowed his way into social media celebrity. Having trained in taekwondo since age 2 and dancing since age 5, the multi disciplined artist has fostered a unique iconic style that draws upon hip-hop, street funk, and martial arts.

Jodi McMahon -Bergman – Musical Theatre Jazz

Jodi is a native Floridian who began training in dance at a young age, studying a wide range of styles before pursuing advanced training in Los Angeles, California. As a former Tremaine Dance Convention scholarship recipient, she had the opportunity to train and work with many of the industry’s most respected choreographers.

Claudine Carter -Pereira – (Ballet ) – Claudine was born and raised, in Freeport, Bahamas, where she began dancing at the age of three, she acquired a strong foundation and love for dance. From the age of nine through most of her teen years, she studied extensively at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City in their Trainee Program.

Cassandra Santiago – (Contemporary) is a Los Angeles, based dancer and choreographer With professional credits spanning television, film, live tours, and major award shows, including the 66th and 67th Annual Grammy Awards, Wicked: One Wonderful Night, Schoolhouse Rock! 50th Anniversary Singalong, and the SZA SOS and Kehlani Crash world tours, Cassandra brings industry-level experience to the studio.

Cassandra has also worked on campaigns for Apple, Google Pixel, Target, and Mastercard, collaborating with acclaimed choreographers including Christopher Scott, Cortland Brown, Jamal Sims, Ryan Heffington, and Charm La’Donna. With a foundation in various forms of dance, she brings versatility, athleticism, and dynamic storytelling to every class.

Please Read Carefully Before Registering I understand that participation in dance classes, rehearsals, demonstrations, warm-ups, stretching, choreography, performances, question-and-answer sessions, photo opportunities, and related event activities involves physical movement and may include risks such as slips, trips, falls, collisions, muscle soreness, strains, sprains, physical contact with other participants, and other accidental injuries that may occur during dance or movement activities. I voluntarily choose to participate, or voluntarily permit the minor participant named on this registration form to participate, in the Choreographers Ball Workshop Series hosted by Developing Dreams Foundation at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I accept and assume the ordinary and inherent risks associated with participation in the event. I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Developing Dreams Foundation, Lauderhill Performing Arts Center, their respective officers, directors, employees, volunteers, agents, contractors, guest artists, instructors, choreographers, photographers, sponsors, vendors, and representatives from claims arising from ordinary physical mishaps, accidental injuries, or property damage connected with participation in the event. This release is not intended to waive claims that cannot legally be waived, including claims arising from gross negligence, reckless misconduct, intentional misconduct, or other liability that applicable law does not permit to be released. I understand that participants are responsible for following all safety instructions, disclosing any participation restrictions that the event organizer reasonably needs to know, taking breaks when necessary, and immediately informing an instructor or event representative of any injury, pain, dizziness, illness, unsafe condition, or other concern. I confirm that I have read this agreement, understand its meaning, and have had the opportunity to ask questions before submitting this registration. *

Assumption of Risk: I understand and voluntarily accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with participating in dance, movement, rehearsal, workshop, performance, and related physical activities. Release and Hold-Harmless Agreement: I have read and agree to the release, indemnification, and hold-harmless terms above concerning Developing Dreams Foundation, Lauderhill Performing Arts Center, the instructors, guest artists, staff, volunteers, contractors, and other event representatives. Safety Acknowledgment: I agree that the participant will follow all instructions, act responsibly, use equipment and facilities appropriately, and stop participating and notify event staff if pain, dizziness, illness, injury, or an unsafe condition occurs. Emergency Authorization: If I cannot be reached during an emergency, I authorize Developing Dreams Foundation and event personnel to contact emergency medical services and obtain reasonably necessary emergency assistance for the participant. I understand that I remain responsible for medical expenses not otherwise covered. I confirm that the information submitted is accurate and that registration is not final until confirmation is received from Developing Dreams Foundation. Optional Photo and Video Permission: I authorize Developing Dreams Foundation to photograph or record the participant during the event and to use those images or recordings for legitimate nonprofit, educational, archival, fundraising, and promotional purposes. Declining this optional permission will not prevent participation. *
