Developing Dreams is the #1 independent provider of career driven arts education through after-school and summer programming in South Florida. With a wide variety of media arts, performing arts, and auditory arts, Developing Dreams help youths to find their passion and provide them with the tools necessary to pursue them. Our goal is to provide a stable and sound foundation of understanding, knowledge, and hands on training, so that these youth will have a head start in the career in which they choose to pursue based on their passion. Our programs propels and encourages youth to further their arts education by attending college, trade school or some form of higher education. We prepare them for a career in the arts of their choice, and help them to find the confidence as well as discipline to follow through and follow their dreams.
In 2024, we are thrilled to present a remarkable opportunity to over 200 youths from various partnering after-school organizations at our 23rd Annual Choreographers’ Ball. This prestigious event will be held on October 20th at the Lauderhill Performing Arts Center in Lauderhill, Florida. Many of these young attendees come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and have never had the chance to experience the wonder of a professional theater production in such an esteemed venue. With a profound sense of sorrow, we share the heartbreaking news that South Florida has lost one of its most gifted artists, Bobby Franano. On Saturday, August 24th, Bobby was taken from us far too soon.
