There are times that parents do not show enough encouragement and kids quickly get turned off. A lot of times kids are doing something that they think their parents would be proud of and supportive. When that passion is expressed to a parent and the parent acts as if it is nothing big (not a big deal) or worse shoots it down with negativity, we deprive our child of trying something new, something different for them, something that will help them develop a unique experience.
