For over two decades, the Developing Dreams Foundation has been a cornerstone of South Florida’s after-school programs, dedicated to enriching community life through career-focused and summer initiatives. Our commitment extends beyond the classroom, striving to touch lives in profound and meaningful ways.
Together for Our Youth!
Once upon a time, in our vibrant community, art was a gateway to dreams for countless young minds. But today, we face a significant challenge. As of June 2024, our journey took a hard turn when the governor's decision to cut $32 million in arts-related grant funding left us grappling to reach more youth and inspire them to explore careers in the arts.
Imagine the impact of this cut on our after-school programs, where creativity flourishes and futures are shaped. We’re pouring our hearts into securing contracts, hosting events, and working with incredible sponsors, but as a small business, these budget cuts hit home harder than ever. We already work miracles with the resources we have, but we can’t do it alone.
That’s where our community shines! We are grateful to have champions like Mr. Wayne & Mrs. Lucretia Weiner, who believe in our mission and have offered to match every dollar we raise, up to $20,000! This generous challenge can help us continue providing life-changing opportunities for our youth.

Your generous donation enables us to continue providing over 500 youth with access to high-quality, career-driven after-school programs. 100% of the young people we serve come from low-income households and would otherwise have limited opportunities to receive hands-on training or explore diverse career paths in the arts.
