At Developing Dreams Foundation, we’re cultivating the leaders of tomorrow. With a variety of computer-based after school programs that focus on graphic and web design, your child will learn foundational skills to become a computer whiz by the time they enter high school.
This is not your generation, it is a different time, careers are changing and the mind of our young kids are changing. They are exposed to things that we never had the chance to experience. Instead of taking them down that road that our parents took us, maybe we need to learn more about their interest and provide them the guidance needed to pursue careers of passion. We can all agree that if we wake up daily to a job that we hate, we lead miserable lives and it affects all who are around us. Why not all your kids to pursue a career that they will love, and help them find the position in those careers that pay a comfortable living wage. for example, if you child wants to be a dancer, that’s great but for stability and longevity maybe help them explore the career of a choreographer, a stage director, or even maybe help them to have bigger goals. We often hear kids say they want to dance for Beyonce, or something of this nature, what we do is say ok yes, but after that job is done what do you do? This gets them to thinking, and then we suggest what is the next step up in that career? this gets them to Dig deeper, we then look up the average wages for dancers and for choreographers, production managers, stage directors etc. By doing this we help them open their minds to the greater possibilities and raise the bar on their goals. As we all know, we always get better results when we ask ourselves better questions. Help your child to live a live full of passion, and careers where there is room for growth, and sustainability. Let’s face it we will never be able to replace arts with robots, art is a living, growing and thriving business, they just need the proper guidance in how to approach it, and how to plan to make it profitable.
