The Developing Dreams Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to enriching the educational and artistic landscape, particularly within the performing and auditory arts sectors, with a special emphasis on empowering underprivileged and vulnerable youth.
Our mission is to instill vital qualities such as self-confidence, self-respect, and self-discipline, fostering a culture of goal-oriented achievement while promoting mutual respect and inclusivity.
At Developing Dreams Foundation, we achieve our goals through an array of meticulously designed programs including classes, workshops, youth groups, and inspiring performances. Serving as a catalyst for positive change, Developing Dreams Foundation acts as a bridge between local individuals and grassroots organizations who share our vision of nurturing the next generation for a brighter future.
Through the generous support and contributions from individuals and corporations nationwide, Developing Dreams Foundation is able to make a profound impact, providing life-changing opportunities to thousands of children and young adults annually. These include scholarships, employment prospects, access to enriching musical and theatrical productions, and the chance to learn and perform alongside seasoned professionals in the performing arts industry. OUR MISSION
The Mission of Developing Dreams Foundation (DDF) is to assure that no child is left behind socially, academically, or economically by providing quality training and experience in art careers through innovative programs and performance opportunities.
Developing Dreams Foundation will achieve our mission by promising to:
- To continue to provide superior classes for young, talented aspiring performers, allowing them to continue their education in performing arts in a safe, friendly, and productive environment.
- To provide paid, work opportunities to performing artists in both the local and national community, allowing them to earn while creating the possibility of a career, thus a future in the arts.
- To continue to produce enjoyable, top-notch musical productions, creating a positive environment in the local community which results in an array of beneficial results ranging from financial gains to productive youth development.
- To create a support and mentor system that fosters the advancement of these aspiring artists and performers in various performance arts as well as in life. Upon the introduction of these systems in their lives, the students will attain and improve their artistic abilities as well as their personal character and morality.
- To service the local community in ways that while create positivity, unity, and productivity both for the children as well as the adults and families in the area. These positive results will not only benefit the individuals/residents of the area, but potentially provides opportunities to gain positive socio-economic results such as increased graduation rates and reduced crime rates.
WHAT WE DO
Developing Dreams Foundations (DDF) is a not-for-profit organization that provides a variety of professional performing arts opportunities to aspiring artists whose upbringing can be from less-than-ideal surroundings and support systems. From offering an array of performing art classes and seminars to providing performance opportunities, DDF is known for the development of young performing artists. Not only helping at-risk children when they are young, but also giving them a future by providing consistent work opportunities, DDF supports and enhances the lives of all types of artists throughout all stages of their careers. DDF finds it vital to not only help these young, aspiring artists, but to consistently teach, support, and motivate them throughout their careers and most importantly, their lives.
FOR THE YOUTH
In addition to performance opportunities, DDF provides quality after-school classes that include advanced level training in a safe, constructive environment. Intensive training courses are held in 8 – 12 week sessions. All classes are limited in size in order to achieve the most productive and effective training environments for each student. Due to limited class size and immense demand by future artists, these classes’ admission is based on audition only.
